A strong community has many elements. Housing at all income levels. Investment in social capital. Quality public amenities. Concern for its residents. PHDC works to make these elements a reality in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.
Housing Development
Philadelphia supports housing opportunities for residents at all income levels.
Germantown/Mt. Airy Properties
PHDC through PRA gained control of a portfolio of properties in Germantown and Mt. Airy. We are working to ensure that these properties are responsibly redeveloped in the best interest of the community.
Logan Neighborhood Plan
The Plan addresses Logan’s Future, through community input, and explores how resources from the development of the Logan Triangle should be distributed. It gives a guide towards ongoing neighborhood rebuilding efforts.
Lower Eastwick Public Land Strategy
This Strategy, a partnership of the Steering Committee, community residents and public-sector stakeholders, focused on informing, educating, engaging and empowering the residents.
Neighborhood Preservation Initiative (NPI)
NPI is a $400 million bond program
intended to improve and enhance
housing, commercial corridors, and
neighborhood infrastructure across
the city.
