LAND FOR RESIDENTS

Starting July 6 many City offices will reopen to the public. Others will continue to operate in a more hybrid style. PHDC will continue to provide services by remote features, internet or phone. Where necessary, in person meetings by appointment are available.


Are you interested in turning the vacant lot next to your house into a side or rear yard? Or creating a community garden on the vacant lot down the street or around the corner? If the land is owned by a public agency that might be possible. Please note that in August of 2019, PRA and PLB merged with PHDC. You may note some of those entities referenced in these sections.


Side or Rear Yards

Some properties can be purchased for a side or rear yard by a homeowner who lives next to or in front of a vacant lot.
